The Japandi Orb 1 is not mass-produced in a factory; it is crafted layer by layer in our studio using precision FDM technology.

Because of this additive process, you will notice a fine, lined texture on the surface of the orb. This is not a flaw—it is the signature of 3D printing, making every piece unique in bearing its crafting mark.

Unlike mass-produced plastic decor, the Japandi Orb 1 is strictly made to order using 3D printing technology. It is crafted from PLA (Polylactic Acid)—a renewable, non-toxic bioplastic derived from corn starch and sugarcane. It’s durable, lightweight, and 100% biodegradable in industrial facilities.

Each colorway interacts differently with light, allowing you to choose the exact mood for your space:

1. The Minimalist (White Shade & Black Base)

• The Look: Pure, clean, and unmistakably Nordic.
• The Light: Maximum Brightness. The white orb acts as a full diffuser, allowing light to glow through the entire surface.
• Best For: Brightening up a dark corner, bedside reading, or spaces where you need a clear, soft ambient light.

2. The Naturalist (Beige Shade & Brown Base)

• The Look: Earthy and organic; mimics the warmth of sand or raw ceramic.
• The Light: Warm & Muted. The beige material softens the light, giving it a honey-like, golden tone that feels incredibly cozy.
• Best For: Living room shelves, "hygge" corners, and creating a relaxed, welcoming environment.

3. The Modernist (Black Shade & Bronze Base)

• The Light: Dramatic & Architectural. Unlike the other two, the black material is opaque. It doesn't let light glow through it; instead, it forces the light out through the woven texture.
• The Effect: It casts the light as a striking geometric pattern on your surroundings.
• Best For: Deep mood lighting and creating a focal point in a room. Please note: This version is an "art-light" meant for atmosphere, not for illuminating a large space.
